GF Brownies with White Chocolate Ganache – Pin for later
If you love the Cooking channel like I do, you know that one show turns into two, into four, and so on. I like to think of it as research, because I am trying to make the world a better place for Celiacs and adapting a recipe to make it gluten-free is like…well…better than sex. Ok, I said it. I love food and have been re-creating recipes from different shows for years, but it wasn’t until I was diagnosed that I realized something: if someone can make it – I can make it gluten-free. Sometimes it can be pretty easy, but sometimes it’s pretty hard.
It wasn’t until I found a flour recipe that I loved that things became easier, but not 100% successful 100% of the time. These brownies were so good, I forgot to take pictures. It just happened to be my “chocolate week” (women, you know what I mean, no?) and I dove right in. I don’t think the Cooking channel would mind if I used their pic, and I gave credit, but next time I make them, I am going to replace the pic with one of my own.
The original recipe called for fennel, cardamom and pakrika but it just wasn’t my thing at the time, so I cut those ingredients out – but you can certainly add whatever spice you want and I’m sure it will be just scrumptious! Give it a try if you truly love chocolate, you won’t be disappointed – please come on back and leave me a comment. I would love to hear from anyone who reads this blog, ya know?
